Share-A-Thon 2009

On December 10th, 2009, the Social Media Club of New Haven, Connecticut (SMC New Haven), with the generous support of sponsors and volunteers held the 1st Annual Share-A-Thon 2009. Share-A-Thon 2009 was a full day fundraising event that consisted of music, live interviews, special guests, giveaways, promotions, and local news coverage. Share-A-Thon 2009 was held at Claire's Corner Copia in downtown New Haven, CT.

Objective
As a founding member of the Social Media Club - New Haven Chapter (SMC New Haven), I believed in the power of social media. My goal was to use social media as a tool to unite the community, and bring awareness to local nonprofit organizations and business owners, while raising money for the United Way of Greater New Haven.
